This week’s question comes from Carrie:

“Hi Orna and Matthew,

After years of bad relationships (including an ugly divorce in my 20’s), I just decided one day to stop the madness! And I took some time for myself and really stopped dating. Now, I’ve been single for several years and I feel good on my own, really good. I don’t need someone to complete me or anything like that. I’ve taken some time to check in with myself and keep asking myself what do I want and I DO want to share my life with someone. I’ve done everything I can think of in terms of working on myself and my guy is still not here. What am I supposed to do? I’m not impatient but I keep wondering where is he! Am I doing anything wrong?

Hi Carrie,

We are so happy to hear that you are doing well on your own. It sounds like you are in a really great place. A true soul partnership is one that you create by holding the belief that your guy is out there, also doing the inner work so you can release your subconscious blocks to love.

Be sure that you are “Acting As If” – and by that we mean acting in alignment with the belief that your soulmate awaits you. Not putting your life on hold waiting for your man to show up. This means, travel, career, everything – that you continue to live your life fully and with the unshakable belief that you are meant to share your life with someone.

A true soul partnership is a choice, not something that you require. This is why “Acting As If” is so very important. When your man reveals himself to you, you will choose to be with him (and he with you).

Stay curious about other people. Avoid the desire to pursue men you find attractive; instead let him know the water is warm with a smile or compliment. Sit back and receive his attention and pursuit.

Most importantly – DATE! Meet as many people as you can. Your soulmate probably won’t come knocking on your door; you have to take actions that put you out in the world where he can find you.

Timing is critical in relationship. We don’t have to scour the earth looking for our One, the reality is that we grow to and develop a high vibration of self-respect and self-love and come across someone who has done the same whose values in relationship match ours.

Often times, one person is “ready” before the other. You may be in a holding pattern, awaiting your Beloved because he needs a key piece of learning before he’s ready for you.

If this is the case, it won’t be long before he moves forward in his growth and into your arms. You’ll look back on this time as being relatively short and laugh to yourself about having felt impatient.

So live your life to it’s fullest and hold the space for him. He will show up when the timing is right.

If you are not sure if you are fully “ready” and wondering if there are any hidden blocks that you’re unaware of in your subconscious then apply for a Your Love Imprint® Session with us.

During this private conversation we will identify any strategies that are keeping you from the love you want. Remember, we are complex as human beings, just because you desire a relationship doesn’t mean that you aren’t keeping yourself stuck in some way.

If you’ve been putting yourself out there for awhile and you feel discouraged, or if you find yourself meeting up with the same kind of unavailable men, then it’s time to dig deeper to discover what’s really going on – that’s what a Your Love Imprint Session is all about!

We’ll quickly uncover your mental/emotional patterns, limiting beliefs, and behavioral strategies around giving and receiving love. Once we know where you’re at we’ll also recommend what’s next and how you can transform your specific blocks to love.

The application process allows you to share just a few details so we can get right to it on the phone. (If you’re overseas, there is a web-call option too.)

We are here to be your guides to love!

Love and Abundance,
